As enthusiastic admirers of the Willamette Valley, Mark & Megan McNeilly consider it a second home; it’s where they married and spend time with friends and family during coveted downtime. Megan Anne Cellars was conceived in 2014 as a collaboration between the couple and former Evening Land winemaker Isabelle Meunier.
This Willamette Valley Pinot Noir project presents a softer, more feminine side of the Mark Ryan Winery family — the inaugural vintage was released in fall of 2016.
In the following years, Megan Anne Cellars has earned praise from critics for crafting elegant, expressive Willamette Valley Pinot Noir that showcases finesse, balance, and layered complexity. We currently offer two distinct bottlings: the signature Willamette Valley Pinot Noir, and the reserve-level Black Love Pinot Noir, a nod to Oregon Pinot as the “forbidden love” of a Washington winemaker.
Each release reflects Mark and Megan’s dedication to quality and artistry, while celebrating the unique character of Willamette Valley vineyards.
MEgan Anne Cellars Black Love Vertical Tasting with Mark and Megan
Join Mark and Megan for a vertical tasting of our reserve Pinot Noir, Megan Anne Black Love. Featuring the 2021, 2022, and 2023 vintages from the Willamette Valley in Oregon, they discuss the story behind the label, their connections to the Willamette Valley, and tasting notes for these three vintages.
