2023 Little Sister | Merlot
Merlot is one of the varietals that first put Washington Wine on the map - this wine makes it easy to understand why. Every year we select our favorite barrels of merlot for Little Sister. The 2023 vintage is a blend from two of our favorite vineyards: Ciel du Cheval on Red Mountain and Red Willow in the upper Yakima Valley. This wine is designed for cellaring, and will evolve beautifully over the next decade - or even longer.
2022 Water Witch | RED WINE
In 2012 we partnered with Quintessence Vineyards to transform a 13.6-acre block on the south slope of Red Mountain into a world-class vineyard. Sparing no expense in the design and development, and through meticulous site, varietal, and clone selection, we created a wine unique to the Mark Ryan lineup and Red Mountain AVA - Water Witch. This wine highlights the fantastic vineyard character unique to this block with complexity and structure.
2023 Crazy mary | Mourvèdre
Mourvèdre is a varietal that we all love to work with. Typically used in GSM blends, its aromatic profile is similar to syrah, but with additional savory elements that result in a unique wine. Mourvèdre ripens later than most varietals and is often one of the last lots we pick. This 2022, this wine vintage benefited from cooler weather that allowed the grapes to develop slowly, leading to fantastic balance between sugar, acid, and flavor development
