2021 LUCIA ROSE
Every year our goal is to create one wine unlike any other offered in the Mark Ryan portfolio, whether it is a traditional Bordeaux style blend or an outstanding lot from one of our premiere vineyards.
To create the 2021 Lucia Rose, we selected petit verdot from our finest blocks at Quintessence, Olsen and Ciel du Cheval, and added a small amount of cabernet sauvignon to elevate the blend. The petit verdot from Quintessence o ers explosive blue fruit aromas and a layered, dynamic finish. The Olsen petit Verdot adds layers of intense floral notes and an expansive palate. Ciel du Cheval petit verdot provides a dense, meaty core of black and blue fruits with a long supple finish. The addition of Quintessence cabernet sauvignon contributes savory spice notes with rich flavors and textures across the palate.
